Good Picture A big thanks for posting those Simon; and a big thanks also to your friend Wilie Venter for providing them.  Live Steam is the pentacle of model railroading IMHO, and a venture I hope to enter one day.....before my retirement. I have been fortunate to amass the equipment and many of the required skills over the years but not the sit down and do it time. I have plan sheets and books for several of my favorite live steam models but not sure my current living location is where I want to begin the adventure. We have several live steam clubs in the area, and one that call on me regularly to come and attend their functions but I have not made it across the bay on their dates yet......your photos sure are motivation!!!!

 Pimp

Thanks James. Yes the internet certainly has made the world a lot smaller and I will post more pics shortly. Have to adjust the size of the pics. There are plenty still to come. By the way, the camera that my friend Willie Venter used is a "Konica Minolta Z3"

Really cool locos Simon!!! Thumbs Up
Looks like a pretty fun excursion you had. From everyone I have ever met involved in live steaming; the degree of skills and craftsmanship is always impressive. You sure your on the other side of the world Simon; seems like no matter where we call home, we are all impressed with similar interests. The internet sure has opened up the world to all of us!
Did you find any new modeling subjects while you were there?Huh? That D.H.R. saddle tanker is sweet!!!Looking forward to more pics.......

 Wow

Thanks Womblenz! Before I forget again. The credit for the photos, must go to my longtime friend (28yrs), Willie Venter, who used a fancy "fandangled" digital camera. I think it's a Canon, I'm not sure. Will find out!
