Warren, your moving along very well. Looking great! Those micro spikes are a little harder to drive than the small ones but the look is much better. Do you solder your track joints? Are you adding power drops along the way or going to go back and add them? Remember, I'm new at this track laying also so I'm following your lead.... Also do you isolate your turnouts from the rest of the track? OK, Ok, so many questions....Keep on going, I'll catch up soon!!

.... All what they said, plus...
....I think that the last few photos of the train and track ('specially the last one that's a close up ) really highlights the great looking trackwork you are achieving, It looks fantastic Warren, you should be very proud of your efforts man.

The added elevation is nice, it adds to the overall look of the layout.

way to go mate looks great. As the boss says only 50,000 ties or so to go and 5 more feet on the ore dock. You should be out of the train room in a year or so on good behavior lol
keep the great work up

Great progress Warren! Glad to see you back in the train room again! Your track is looking excellent! Sence it was you that got me into the hand laid track I'm happy to see you at it also...lol. It is pretty relaxing. From what track I have laid so far I'm finding that trucks and locos seem to roll much better than on flex track....it might be my imagination, or could be because we are able to watch how we gauge the track closer. Keep up the good work, only 50,000 + ties to go!!

Hello Folks
With all the great work being done by some around here has got me off my backside.
While feeling a little kit build out
I've gone out to the layout room and made a little progress
We've started at the yard entrance. The plan is to lay some main line and get a train moving.
While some may not agree I will cut the turnout's in later
Now the pics
here we branch off to the nolix
A couple of over views
More in next post
Cheers Warren
