Good stuff Matt,  Wow
If that doesn't get the model railroaders blood flowing then nothing will. The work these folks do on those replicas is outstanding and a inspiration to everyone.

Chessie System RR - Route Of The Sleeping Kitten

Each of these locomotives is hand fired by coal. No oil for these steamers. They take years to build them and when they are completed they look like their older sisters that have since been retired. There will be more photo's to come.

Pennsylvania Railroad B6sa # unknown at this time. Built by another member of the Independent Live Steamers. Since this locomotive has a slope back tender a boxcar was designed and built to house the water for the locomotive. The member that built this locomotive has a 1 inch scale railroad in his backyard and holds a Railroad Meet 1-2 times a year. This member lives in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Railroad T1 #6110. Built by another member of the Independent Live Steamers. This locomotive is over 15 years and was just put under steam 3-4 years ago. Every piece of metal, stainless steel, etc is handmade. This locomotive was built after the first PRR T1. This member lives in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Live Steamers as well.

Pennsylvania Railroad E6 #460. Built by a member of the Independent Live Steamers. This locomotive is well over 15 years old and still runs like it is new. The locomotive was built after the real E6 #460. You can view the real locomotive at the Railroad Museum of Pa. The guy that owns the engine now lives down in Texas and runs it on a railroad that a friend of his built.
