Well here are some more pics. The ladder is not spiked yet I'm hoping to pick up some dye to stain ties before spiking in place.

Well here is my first attempt at laying a turnout.
 
first some ties.



now the turnout and it has been spiked.



It seemed easier than I thought but I'm sure things will change as I continue to gain more knowledge and practice

Well so far Fathers day as gone to plan.  :cow:

I got to have a sleep in and I've got some cork laid. :cow:




There is 2 lengths laid there for the out going empties.

Well after finishing the yard ladder I'm left with no choice LOL. It's time to start laying some track.

So I need to get some cork roadbed glue down. Which I'm hoping to get some tomorrow.

This also means I need to build a tie jig aslo on tomorrow's list

I plan to place 1 pc broad tie every 1 ft which will be for power

Im going to attempt to spike the rail in place as opposed to glue.

I will post some pics in the next few days of cork and jig.
