Our club bought a couple of the HO Fast Track jigs for our 40'x12' club layout.
I must say that making the turnouts was incredibly easy.

The problem we had was after that turnouts were installed. We are running DCC on the club layout and it took us 3-4 months of testing... Due to the fact the Fast Tracks use copper clad ties for easy assembly, these caused a short in the DCC system... you have to remember to cut ALL the copper ties so you don't get conductivity across the rails.

Good luck Warren, yours look good.

Hi Guys

Well my new jig from fastracks arrived it's a #6 double cross over here's a shot of the jig

so we started playing

it's a little different to plain switch :fan:
while being tricky there some things that will need to improve mainly my soldering  LOL
the main trick is to solderon the correct side of the rail after the first step i started the next step and it wouldn't sit right

so i had to resolder first bit then next bit sat right

now the next step was just a normal turn out

so we're about quarter way though
more soon

Cheers Warren
