Ron this is not a positive ID for your flat car, but it looks similar to an Athearn model. It could be an earlier version of the car

Here's the Athearn version. Model No,  1300


 


A pretty good match, I'd say!!  I've only seen this particular car made by Athearn, so it possible that Ron's model is an earlier Athearn model.
